Volunteers needed

Volunteer opportunities:

1. Managing Director: Energetic individual needed to lead volunteer-driven non-profit foundation. Foundation has significant assets in its human resources.
2. Scheduler: The position of scheduler is open for the Steamboat Floating Classroom. Position entails contacting groups who would like to sail with SPLASH. Most groups want to sail with SPLASH every year, if they are able.
Once the trip is scheduled with the client, make sure that crew is prepared for the date and time.
3. Public relations and outreach(representing SPLASH at festivals, scout conventions, 4H Shows etc), grant writing, and related organizational skills could also be a great help.
4. Boat crew (deckhand, engineer, or captain) and on-board teachers are also needed as we expand this educational project.

Matching grant

Matching grant needed: We have a challenge grant of $20,000 from a Board Member and need someone to match all or part of it. Do you know an individual or foundation that would welcome a SPLASH grant application?
The funds will be used to develop the SPLASH educational program.

Donations needed

Donations: You can help maintain the steamboat, develop educational materials and staff the Floating Classroom.
